ABOUT ALL TIME LOW!
ALL TIME LOW- A pop-punk band originating in Baltimore, Maryland. Influences including blink 182 and New Found Glory. It all started with vocals/guitarist Alex Gaskarth and guitarist Jack Barakat. They were best friends and decided one day "hey lets make a band." They soon started experimenting on eachother. They met drummer Rian Dawson soon after, all they needed was a bassist. As Gaskarth says "Jack soon stalked enough people to find Zack." Bassist Zack Merrick joined the band only because he could do a kick flip. They recorded a EP with a local record company Emerald Moon. The EP was called The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End. After that, they recorded a full length album with the same record company, called The Party Scene. They graduated high school so now they could make their dream come true. The band Amber Pacific introduced them to Hopeless Records. The record company was immedently impressed and signed them. They released their first EP Put up or Shut up. They also did the 2006 Warped Tour. "Some people were just trying to have a good time but then there was some people giving us the finger and screaming you guys suck and mooning us. I'm up here playing a pink guitar in booty shorts did you expect me to scream? I'm sorry, " Gaskarth says after the tour. In 2007, they released their full length album So Wrong, Its Right. From that album alone they got to be discover and download on MTV for a week! Their music video for Dear Maria, Count Me in is featured on MTV all the time. They have headlined for many, many tours. Nothing too, too big yet but there will be. Until, everyone found out they were BAND OF THE YEAR in Alternative Press. Right now they are finishing their tour but right after they're going to go record their new album, hopefully coming out in the summer of 2009.
